The Tempest melee pack: six blades, fully animated
Tempest is six melee weapons built as one set: three swords, a butcher's cleaver, a machete and a tomahawk. Every piece shares a visual language — worn steel, wrapped grips, a bit of story in the wear — so a character can carry two of them and still look deliberate.
What's in it
- Tempest Longsword — the hero piece. Two-handed idle, wide horizontal swings.
- Sidearm Sword — shorter, one-handed, faster recovery between hits.
- Officer's Sabre — curved blade, thrust-forward attack chain.
- Butcher Cleaver — heavy, slow, high stagger.
- Field Machete — the workhorse. Balanced stats, reads well at distance.
- Tomahawk — light, quick, with a throw variant on a separate hash.
Every attack is bespoke
None of these borrow the base-game knife or bat animations. Each weapon has its own attack chain, idle, run and stealth-kill clips, authored against real reference so the weight matches the silhouette. The cleaver feels heavy because the wind-up is slower and the follow-through drags the ped's shoulder round; the tomahawk feels light because it doesn't.
If you've used our older melee drops: the grip bones are the same, so any holster or back-prop attachments you already set up will carry over.
Blood, decals and props
Hit reactions spawn weapon-appropriate blood decals, and each blade has a matching sheath/holster prop that streams with the pack. The props use a shared texture dictionary, so adding all six to a server costs about the same as adding one.
